Even though I’m not anywhere near engaged, I’ve tried on a handful of wedding dresses in the last few years, thanks to the Austin Brides Against Breast Cancer Event I modeled for (you can read about it here) and the BHLDN Week Houston Store Tour I did, in which I got to play dress up in some of my BHLDN favorites (read about that here). I’ll confirm this someday when it happens, but I can’t imagine that trying on gorgeous bridal gowns for an event is anything like trying them on for your wedding. There are a few things I’ve been sure to avoid at these events, just because I want to save them for when I’m a bride, and lace is one of them.
