I feel like spring and fall are both tricky seasons to plan weddings in. In the summer, you know it’ll be hot outside–cue the fan programs, lots of icy cold drinks to keep guests hydrated, and a pretty updo to keep hair off your neck. Winter wedding? Keep everything in a cozy indoor setting, serve hot cocoa during cocktail hour, and give soft pashminas as bridesmaid gifts. But spring and fall aren’t so easy! In a lot of places (ahem, Pittsburgh…), it might be snowing one day and 65 degrees the next, so a bride has to plan for anything!
One way that I’ve noticed brides accommodating uncertain weather, as well as making an adorable fashion statement, is having a bright cardigan on hand. Take a look!

Pretty cute! The pops of color are so fun, and having the option on hand is the perfect way to be prepared for unpredictable weather. Cardigans can also perfect for church settings that require more modest attire. As adorable and useful as cardigans are for these brides though, I would have to consider them a “don’t” for super formal weddings. If I think of a good option for those, I will let you all know :)
Wishing you all a lovely Monday!
Love,
Lisa
