If you follow me on twitter (which I hope you do, because I love twitter!), you may have seen my exciting announcement yesterday! Along with three other fabulous ladies, I’m a new editorial intern for Occasions magazine! I am absolutely in love with the concept of this magazine–as Associate Editor, Callie Rogers, put it when she interviewed me, they’re aimed 90% at brides planning their weddings, and 10%  at brides who also want to take personalized, detailed events beyond their weddings, to events like bridal showers, birthday parties, housewarming parties, baby showers, etcetera. Pretty amazing, right?

Here’s the most recent cover…I love purple for fall! Occasions is published both in print and online, so you can check out all the gorgeousness here–just click on “View Magazine” at the top. And trust me, you’ll want to take a look!

They also blog through their website a couple times a day with both real events and “Event Elements”–all those pretty things we love that make events come to life! I’ll be posting on Wednesdays and Fridays in the event elements category. My first post went up yesterday, and is all about statement necklaces, which is one of my favorite bridal trends I’ve seen popping up lately. I have a big list of ideas, so be sure to check in from time to time and check them out!
