November Inspiration

Weddings

My favorite months of the year are April , June, December, and November…yes, I know that’s one third of the months, but John is even worse…he picked nine favorites. :)  Regardless, I am pretty excited to be at the start of one of my favorite months, and lots of great things are coming up to finish off the semester.

I’ve been thinking lately about setting small goals for myself more regularly, because there are so many things I want to try (everything from new recipes to different workouts to learning darn photoshop)…maybe if I write them all in lists in a pretty notebook, I’ll get around to them? I think it’s worth a try! To get inspired for all the things I want to do, I rounded up some inspiration for November in a few favorite categories.

Wedding inspiration: Rhiannon’s Rustic/Autumn/Kate Spade-inspired photo shoot on Hey Gorgeous has me more in love than ever with pink, gold, and confetti. I know I’ll be referring back to this shoot all month just to admire it!

Fashion inspiration: I’m head over heels for this look on J. Crew’s Looks We Love page. Navy/black and beige stripes seem to be everywhere right now and I love it, especially paired with some punchy-but-not-too-summery colors, like tangerine and cobalt.

Interior design inspiration: Did I mention I’m loving gold right now? The more things gilded, the better, especially vases full of moody blooms for fall. From one of my first favorite blogs, Erin Ever After.

Foodie inspiration: I have been craving French Onion Soup for days, and when My Life as a Mrs. posted her recipe, it automatically jumped to the top of my “must try making this” list. Heavenly!

Holiday inspiration: I love Thanksgiving, and I’m already craving turkey like crazy…anyone else? I can’t imagine a better way to serve Thanksgiving dinner food than on this pretty West Elm platter. The gold obsession continues. :P

Alright, your turn! What’s going to serve as your November inspiration? Are you setting any end-of-the-year goals?

Love,

Lisa

  7. I love a good checklist! I always have scraps of paper all over my office and house where I’ve scribbled down different lists: DIY projects to try, ideas for updating my home decor, etc. I really like to have my goals and ideas written down so that I can always remind myself of what I’m aiming for.

That French onion soup looks delicious… cold weather makes me crave soup!
