Gingham and spring go hand in hand in my mind–I love the way the print adds a little bit of casual charm to even the most polished pieces, like button-downs or blazers. After I first spotted these yellow gingham flats, I couldn’t get them out of my head, and scooped them up on sale a few weeks ago. I don’t know if it was our unusually gloomy winter or what, but I’ve never felt more drawn to color than I have lately! Not just pastels and muted tones either, but sunny yellow, rosy pink, sage green, coral-y peach…the list goes on. I’ve been inspired to grab these shoes from my closet on almost every nice day lately. They add the most cheerful touch to my early spring outfits, effortlessly transitioning neutral basics for the new season.
