Friends, we’re here! The last month of the year, the start of Advent, and a much-anticipated season of celebration. Over the last few years, Dave and I have been experimenting with different ways to distinguish between Advent and Christmas intentionally, and I feel like we finally have a good grasp on what works for us. We’re excited to dig into that this month, and, especially, to start some new traditions with our very enthusiastic four-year-old :) We’re sitting down this week to map out exactly when we want to enjoy all of our favorite festivities, and if you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by all the possibilities right now, I encourage you to do the same (after reading this super encouraging Instagram post by one of the wisest mamas I follow. So good!).

Would love to hear more about your kitchen renovation plans!
I’m obsessed with all things design—yes please to kitchen plan details!
I’m excited for our end of year date too :)
Can’t wait to hear more about the kitchen reno, in person and on the blog! :) Loved that IG post you linked to, too.
Cant wait to see your Christmas card!!
I love your monthly goal posts, Lisa! Thanks for always providing ideas and inspiration. This is kind of a big ask, so please feel free to say, “It’s Christmastime and my plate is full; no way!” But, I would absolutely LOVE to hear about your 2021 Goal Planning morning. As I’ve been reflecting on my 2020 goals and preparing for a new year (thanks, Powersheets!), I’m having a really hard time orienting myself for a year in which there are so many unknowns. I know that every year contains uncertainty (I went into both of the past years — 2019 and 2020 — knowing that I’d be having a baby in each one!) but I’ve never felt this stuck before. I’m drawing a blank with how to prioritize and set goals, and I’d love to hear about how you are handling creating a framework for your year amidst the uncertainty. And if you aren’t able to do this in the next few weeks, I’m eager to observe as it unfolds through your 2021 monthly goal posts :)
