Dave turned 28 on Friday! In the past, we’ve gone out for dinner and drinks with a big group of people on his birthday, but to be totally honest, we haven’t started leaving Charlie with a babysitter yet. Wanting to be home, but still wanting to celebrate with friends led us to decide on hosting a dinner…which made me realize I’ve never planned a party for Dave before! Oh boy, did my wheels ever get turning then! I really wanted to come up with a theme that would make my husband feel loved and celebrated, and landed on the idea of an Irish dinner. His heritage, March birthday date, and love of Guinness made it feel like a perfect fit, and I had so much fun planning a party for someone I love so much and know so well. Here’s the inspiration board I put together:

How fun! Obviously an Irish theme is perfect for this occasion! I can’t wait to see the finished product.
Let’s have the party on Tuesday!!!! Or at least a practice run :)
Love, love, love! Can’t wait to see how it turned out!
OMG that mac looks insane
