For the second week of our honeymoon, Dave and I are headed to Lake Como! We’re staying in an adorable AirBNB apartment, and our plan is to pretty much pretend we’re Italian for the week–exploring the towns, shopping the markets, and spending lots of time taking in the gorgeous lake views. I think it’s much easier to pack for a trip to a place you’ve been before, but since neither Dave nor I have been to Northern Italy at all, I’m guessing a little when it comes to my Lake Como packing list. Ultimately, I’ve decided on breezy layers, spring-inspired shades, polished basics, and lots of white–it is my honeymoon, after all! :) Here’s some of my inspiration:

A white sundress is a must for my suitcase–it can be dressed up with a jacket and leather sandals in Rome, or dressed down with a patterned scarf for a day of wandering around Lake Como.

I’m on the hunt for a few patterned dresses as well, since they’re so easy to pack. No need to worry about putting an outfit together when you can just throw on a dress and go!
