Showered with Love

Weddings

The wedding isn’t the only festivity involved in a becoming husband and wife…for the party-loving couple, there can be an engagement party, a bridal shower, bachelor/bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, and day after brunches, not to mention the wedding itself! While all these parties aren’t at all necessary, they can be such a fun opportunity to showcase the couple’s interests and personalities without any traditional conventions. Check out these totally unique bridal showers and see what I mean!

{This peaches-and-cream themed shower on Hey Gorgeous inspired this post with its beautifully executed theme and dreamy pictures–a flawless example of a traditional bridal shower with a twist!}

{Science never looked so appealing! The theme of this Style Me Pretty shower is “Perfect Chemistry,” and the details are just too cute}

{Showcase the bride’s favorite color throughout, like with the sherbert shades in this Green Wedding Shoes shower. Don’t forget the desserts!}

{Bridal showers can be a great place to go all out with a theme that the bride loves, but wouldn’t go so far as to use it in her wedding. This Alice in Wonderland example on Green Wedding Shoes is perfect for a shower when presented as a Mad Hatter tea party!}

{Chocolate party. Need I say more? This party on Green Wedding Shoes is an engagement party, but it would work wonderfully as a bridal shower too}

{Here’s a fun one–a 1950s Brigitte Bardot-esque pajama tea party! This Style Me Pretty shoot is of a bridal shower, but I’m loving this idea for a bachelorette party even more}

{Every girl loves cake, champagne, and cute shoes! I’ll take this Green Wedding Shoes party for a bridal shower, bachelorette party, or heck, how about my next birthday party?}

I want to hear all about your wedding-related parties! Cute themes, best and worst party games, favorite moments? Do tell! :)

Have a lovely weekend!

Love,

Lisa
