Today’s honeymoon destination is one of my favorite places–Provence, located in the south of France. This would be an amazing location for a honeymoon, thanks to its breathtaking rolling hills, fields of sweet-smelling lavender, fresh-as-can-be foods, pastel painted country houses, and friendly people.

Packing List: Pretty tops with eyelet and ruffle details, floral dresses and scarves, cutoff shorts, light wash jeans, feminine wedges and sandals, a straw tote, a cute swimsuit, pastel skirts, anything made with chiffon

Travel: Stay cool and comfortable on the plane and in the car with a pretty tank, like this one from Loft, and boyfriend jeans (J. Crew), rolled up to show off cute neutral wedges (Nine West). Plus, get yourself psyched up for the gorgeous lavender fields with a floral Anthropologie scarf and pale purple nail polish, like Zoya Perrie.

Day: This look would be perfect for strolling through markets and shops, picking up fresh produce (and baguettes!) and admiring Provençal craft work. Start with a summery top from Victoria’s Secret and cutoff jean shorts from American Eagle, then add some sparkly Guess sandals and a J. Crew straw tote that’s perfect for carrying all your amazing finds.

Night: Choose a sweet, flirty ensemble for a delicious dinner and glass of wine under the stars! This looks consists of neutral patterns and lots of textures–a Modcloth dress with a peek of tulle, Badgley Mischka heels showcasing a pretty rosette (wouldn’t these be beautiful bridal shoes too?), a buttery leather Lucky Brand hobo, and a pop-of-color floral ring from Kate Spade. Pretty!

Provence has got to be one of my favorite places. I only wish that I hadn’t been in my unfortunate t-shirt-and-athletic-shorts phase when I visited years ago! I think I need to go back just to wear pretty, flirty outfits. Who’s with me? :)
