On May 2, 2015, Dave and I were married on the prettiest spring day in North Carolina! I recapped our celebration in the following posts:
We spent our wedding morning across town from one another–I got ready with all my favorite girls, while Dave and his groomsmen dug up the bottle of bourbon he had buried the month before to ensure sunny skies!
Our first look at a park in downtown Raleigh was short and sweet, emotional, and completely perfect for us. I loved these moments so much!
We had a full Catholic Mass ceremony at our parish in downtown Raleigh. We worked hard with our priest to choose readings and songs that reflected our shared passion for our faith and the Catholic teachings on marriage and the theology of the body. We were honored when the reverence of our ceremony was the number one thing our guests commented on.
After the ceremony, we had the best time taking gorgeous portraits outside with all of our favorite people, and, of course, together as husband and wife!
While we only attended the very end of our cocktail hour, we loved the details we chose to include to welcome our family and friends to the celebration.
Our reception details carried our classic, elegant aesthetic through to our more rustic venue. We were so pleased with how everything turned out!
The joy of our reception was everything we could have dreamed of and more. I shared all of my favorite moments here!
We are so grateful that our day was so skillfully and thoughtfully captured by our photographer, Ryan Ray, and our videographers, Inkspot Crow! You can find our wedding film here.
