Today’s inspiration board was designed for another real bride–again, it’s one of my favorite parts of being a wedding blogger! I went to high school with this bride, and since she has always had such amazing style, I wasn’t surprised at all that her wedding plans sound gorgeous! She and her military fiance are throwing a pink and champagne colored wedding at a gorgeous Virginia venue overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. Her plans are full of sentimental details and ways to give back–she’s even planning to donate her gown to Brides Against Breast Cancer after the big day! Here’s what I put together based on her ideas.
{Bridal bouquet: Corbin Gurkin Photography via Style Me Pretty| Sparkling Strawberry Sangria: Ashley O’Dell Photography via A Crimson Kiss| Military wedding: Abby Grace Photography via Bayside Bride| Crown cake: Ellie Grover via 100 Layer Cake| Gold heels: Michael and Anna Costa via Santa Barbara Chic| Cupcakes: Jose Villa via Style Me Pretty| Gold and pink tablescape: Paper Antler via 100 Layer Cake| Mismatched blush bridesmaids: Caroline Joy via Southern Weddings}
Blush mismatched bridesmaids, a few gold details, whimsical cupcakes, and a luscious bouquet–gorgeous, isn’t it? I also couldn’t resist including this crown-topped cake since the bride was a Zeta! It’s the little things, right? :)
Love, Lisa
Such a fitting title for this mood board! I love the pop of navy in the chevron napkins. Such good inspiration :)
