I have been getting some really wonderful mail lately. Maybe it’s the Writing major in me, but there is nothing I love more than handwritten notes (I even mentioned it in my very first blog post! Find it here), and I am so lucky to have people in my life that value snail mail as much as I do.

One of the few things people get formal invitations for these days is weddings. Wedding invitations are one of those details that couples can go generic and simple on, or take the time to find something that truly captures their relationship and wedding vision.

You don’t need to be getting married to send mail though, and there are plenty of beautiful stationary options out there that might inspire you to sit down and write to loved ones.

My personal favorite is Rifle Paper Co. They have the most whimsical personalized stationary I’ve ever seen, and they were featured in Matchbook Magazine, which is an amazing source of inspiration to me!

Take the time today to write someone a note and stick it in the mail. Send an update to your best friend from high school. Tell your significant other how much you love them and seal it with a kiss. Pick out a funny card for your sister or brother.
