Turquoise and red is one of my favorite wedding color combinations. It strikes just the right balance between chic and playful, and set against a clean lakeside backdrop, it is pretty much perfection. I have been smitten with this sweet wedding for ages–Amanda and Ben look like the most fun couple ever, and K. Holly Photography captured all of the amazing moments of their big day beautifully. And trust me, there were amazing moments…like moments that involved wakeboarding. Seriously! :)

Have y’all ever seen anything like that? I think that they are a pretty amazing testimony to what being a fun, relaxed, joyful couple on your wedding day looks like. Beyond that, I love all of the sweet details they used at their reception, from the strawberry jam favors, to the fluffy white poms, to those adorable patterned table runners. I adore this, simply adore it. I grew up spending the summer at Lake Michigan and if it wasn’t so far, would be having my wedding there this fall. And love the colors, I am using turquoise and coral, close right ;)
