I have to say, these dress envy posts are some of my favorites to write. There are so many gorgeous gowns out there, and I love taking a day out of the blog week to admire one that’s really standing out to me. I hope you all like these posts too, and if there’s every anything you want to see more or less of on Something Pretty, please shoot me an e-mail and let me know!
This week’s dress has so many of my favorite elements in it, yet it’s so different from anything I’ve ever seen before. I love the full but flowy skirt, the buttons and the dip in the back, and the asymmetrical neckline and back. It was made by Carol Hannah, of Project Runway fame, so it’s no wonder that it is equally classic and couture at the same time! This lovely bride accessorized the gown perfectly, with the sweetest birdcage veil and royal blue Louboutins.
Are you a classic bride, a couture bride, or a little bit of both?
Love,
Lisa

Oh, that is just lovely! I love the mix of modern in the top and classic, full skirt! Probably more of a classic bride, but I love the unexpected as well {usually love it more when someone else does it!}:)
that is so pretty! the fabric looks divine :) I think I’m the “modern” bride…I do enjoy when other people have couture dresses or details!!
wow! i think this is one of my favorites! not sure if i would wear it, but i do enjoy looking at it!
