I’ve never done a weekend recap before, because most of my weekends are pretty uneventful. This weekend was different though, and I thought a recap might be fun! After a crazy school week last week, a weekend packed with inspiration and new finds was just what I needed. Here’s where I went! (Please excuse the fact that only the last two pictures are my own…I am determined to remember to take my camera out from now on!!)
{Started off at my new favorite store in the world, West Elm! Michaela blogged about West Elm a few weeks ago, so I had to go in when I saw this one in Austin. I was overwhelmed at how perfect everything was, and I will be going back to make some purchases very soon! Plus, their holiday decor is to die for–I especially loved the Christmas tablescape accented in metallics, sort of like this one from their catalog}
{Next stop was Bella Bridesmaid, where my friend and I browsed through dresses. Her sister just got engaged, so she’s scoping things out, and Bella Bridesmaid had so many gorgeous options!}
{Stopped for some iced tea at Sweetish Hill Bakery. It was almost dinnertime, so most of the baked goods were gone, but the menu looks delicious! Next time :)}
{Seriously, how have I never been inside a Paper Source before?? It is stationery/crafting HEAVEN! I definitely could’ve spent hours looking through all the beautiful cards and paper goods. The sales lady saw how excited we were about everything and hooked us up with an events schedule… holiday gift card making workshop, here I come!}
{Finished it all off by meeting the beautiful and insanely talented Grace Bonney at the Design*Sponge book signing! The line was out the door, and for good reason–this book is amazing. I was a little too shy to ask Grace for a picture, but she did sign my copy and was very sweet! If she’s coming to your city, be sure to go see her and check out her book!}
What did you do this weekend? :)
Love,
Lisa

Looks like a fun weekend! I’ve always wanted to go to a Paper Source, although it’s probably a good thing I don’t live near one… I don’t think I’d be able to control msyelf (i.e., my spending)!
