Can I just whine for a second and say that midterms are even worse when you’re a college senior suffering from senioritis…all while knowing that you’re staying for a fifth year of school? My gosh, if y’all have any motivation tips, please share because I need them! :P This weekend, I plan to celebrate finishing a week of tests and post-wedding catching up with these pretty, delicious-looking, and seasonal treats from one of my favorite ladies…
{Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes and Dark Chocolate Ganache}
Enjoy them at: a DIY-infused autumn wedding, displayed on round slabs of wood in all different sizes–the pumpkin is an obvious seasonal ingredient, but ganache always seems more elegant than buttercream to me–perfect for a wedding.
Enjoying them in your college apartment after conquering the biggest study guide you’ve ever made (37 pages) is also a good option. ;) The recipe is from my lovely friend Rhiannon on the one and only Hey Gorgeous!
Have a sweet weekend!
Love,
Lisa
Eeeek! You poor girl! Take a breather and some time to yourself throughout the madness :) xo
if you for real made them SEND ME SOME!!!!
Oh my goodness-YUM!
I will admit to really loving the crap out of school, but my trick is always to write down what I’m studying (by hand) on really lovely paper/notebooks. Something about writing made things stick, and something about a pretty book made the hours go by faster! Good luck, gorgeous!
Ohhhhh I saw those somewhere and I NEED them!!
They look so delicious!! :)
I hope you can find some motivation somewhere in there!!
those look SO. GOOD. thanksgiving break culinary project!
Girlfriend, a 37 page study guide? Some of my outlines in law school were upwards of 120 pages, haha.
These sound divine! I’m not really into pumpkin, but anything with ganache on top is good. I love how you always give styling/serving tips with your weekly sweets.
It was actually for my Media Law test…the one law class I have to take as a Journalism major! :P I could never go to law school!
Glad you’re liking weekly sweets! :)
