Over the last year, more than a handful of people have jokingly referred to Maylis as a third baby. But actually… :)

We are delighted to share that we’re adding a real third baby to our family this fall!

Yes, it feels a little crazy to be preparing for a new baby in our first year of Maylis, as well as Dave’s first full year of being full-time with his financial consulting firm, but we truly believe that God’s timing is perfect. We trust that He is forming the perfect addition to our family—a person we soon won’t be able to imagine our lives without. We are so excited and so, so grateful for this little life He is entrusting to us!

While my first trimester was pretty brutal, there is a level of familiarity and ritual surrounding pregnancy now that it’s our third go-around (fourth if you include our little saint in heaven) that has been so sweet to walk through. I am excited to see how that continues to play out—and what surprises us—as the months progress. Please keep us in your prayers, and I so look forward to sharing bits and pieces of this new season here and on Instagram with you, friends!
