A few years ago, I published this post about what to wear to a Christmas church service. I remember mulling over it for days, nervous that it would be taken the wrong way, but convicted that just maybe it could help someone. Since then, that post gets more traffic than almost anything else on Something Pretty around the holidays. I’m so grateful for that. Even though it sounds kind of superficial, I know that for me personally, few things make me feel more confident in a new situation than knowing that I’m dressed appropriately. That was my heart behind the post–encouraging anyone who came across it to feel confident walking into a church, even if for the first time, at Christmas.
This year, I had the opportunity to share that same message on a larger scale, thanks to Blessed Is She. I invited a few of my Catholic blogger friends to chime in and we each shared an “outfit recipe” that would be both perfect for Christmas Mass and easy to replicate with pieces women may have in their own closets. Loft blouse, Blanqi maternity leggings, J. Crew pumps (old, similar shape here and similar color here), Beautycounter lipstick
You look radiant! ❤️
Thank you so much!
Red lip = instantly dressed up outfit. Love it!
Amen to that!
I remembered to pack my shiny red lip gloss that is probably very expired for Christmas!
