When I first posted that I had become a Beautycounter consultant, I mentioned that I was committed to doing “direct retail” in my own way. I like the person-to-person aspect of Beautycounter’s sales model, but the idea of hosting a bunch of parties with people I don’t know? Kind of gives me the heebies jeebiesĀ (#introvert). That said, I am definitely not opposed to the excuse to host my own party! That’s why, a few weeks ago, I had some friends over for a “Bubbly and Beautycounter” afternoon. We lucked out with pretty mild weather, plenty of prosecco, and peonies in stock at Trader Joe’s :) Consider this the online version–welcome to my back porch!
I wanted to include a low-key way for people to try products they were interested in, so I set up a little “samples bar” featuring my favorite products. Guests could grab a treat bag (pre-filled with little sample containers) and a card they could use to reference after labeling their chosen samples, and then pick and choose anything they were interested in. No pressure, just fun :) The most popular choices among this crew were the Nourishing Cream Exfoliator, Balancing + Charcoal Mask, and Tint Skin Foundation.
So very grateful for these sweet friends! From left to right, that’s Stephanie (and Charlie’s BFF, Jackson), Ashley, Nicole, Morgan, me, Abby, and Rachel :)
You can shop the samples bar below! As always, if you have any questions about Beautycounter or are looking for a safer beauty product to address any particular skincare/makeup needs, leave a comment or shoot me an email :)
Is Beauty Counter still doing the Target line or has that ship sailed? I remember that I wanted to look into that but then I forgot all about it! :)
Unfortunately, that was only for a limited time–I wish it was still available! Let me know if I can recommend or help you find any of the products you were hoping to try on the Beautycounter site! :)
I’m still so sad I missed this! Silly Atlanta!
You were missed, but had such a good excuse! :)
I love the presentation of the desserts/drinks and the sample bar was a great idea!
Thank you so much! It was a lot of fun!
This party was so fun! I LOVED all my samples! As soon as I run out of my beauty products and skincare, I’ll be restocking through your Beautycounter picks! Thanks for having us!!
I’m so glad you could be there, and that you loved your samples! Yay!!
