In honor of one of my very favorite holidays today, here are a few things I’m loving!
Book: I’ve been wanting to read Grace Not Perfection by Emily Ley since it came out in October, and finally picked it up at Target the other week. I knew I would like it, but gosh, I loved it!! So much encouragement that spoke right to where I am right now. If you need a (last-minute :)) Galentine’s Day gift, this should be it!
Recipe: We love roasted brussels sprouts, and recently made this variation we found through a Whole30 Instagram. It was addicting, and will stay in our repertoire long after this month is over.
Purchase: I recently had the somewhat-embarrassing revelation that I am an adult with a husband and a baby and a house…so there is really no need to be sleeping in my old sorority t-shirts! I did a big t-shirt purge and used a gift card toward these splurge-worthy (but currently on sale) Eberjey pajamas. They are dreamy, and I already feel guilty about the fact that they probably won’t be my last Eberjey purchase, ha!
TV show: If you’re obsessed with 1920s American literature (hand RAISED) and you have Amazon Prime, you must watch Z: The Beginning of Everything! It’s about F. Scott Fitzgerald’s wife, Zelda, and it is fantastic. Dave and I have been watching an episode or two almost every night and loving it!
Wallpaper: Weirdest category ever, maybe :) But I cannot get Schumacher’s Pyne Hollyhock in Indigo out of my head after seeing it in this stunning Studio McGee-designed dining room. If anyone knows of a fabric or wallpaper that looks like this for waaaay less money, please tell me!
Blog post: My friend Kelsey wrote such an encouraging post about what it means to love your body. This is something I struggled with a lot during pregnancy and continue to wrestle with postpartum, and I loved her perspective. Head over to her blog to give it a read!
Happy Valentine’s Day, friends! Let me know something you’re loving in the comments below :)

I’m so obsessed with that studio mcgee “country club traditional” house! Because I have more traditional style I want them to do more traditional projects so we can glean inspiration!
Totally agreed!! Everything they touch is gold!
I was going to comment on the fact that I really want to read “Grace Not Perfection” because my motto this year is “Let go of perfect in order to be good” (and I love all things grace :) AND how I looove roasted brussel sprouts & can’t wait to try that Whole30 recipe AND that I’m obsessed with that wallpaper – you have such great taste… but then I saw your sweet comment about my blog post! I am so humbled. Thank you so much for your kind words, Lisa, and for sharing. I am so touched and glad that my words could bring you some solidarity and love. Happy day of LOVE! Enjoy your time with Dave & Charlie
xoxo
More than happy to share! Let me know how you like the book and the brussels! :)
I’ve been obsessed with that dining room since I saw it on Studio McGee too!! Happy V- day! :)
replying to my own comment to show you Joanna Gaines new wallpaper line! This one is similar, but grey, coral, red and yellow are the only color options right now! https://lelandswallpaper.com/product/heirloom-rose-wallpaper/
Ooooh! Love that! And will be stalking it from now on in hopes of a blue colorway in the future ;)
I am listening to this book, Present Not Perfect, and she makes a case for real pajamas. I wouldn’t have thought about how important they are but she says they help our body rest, since they are made for sleeping. I think I need to put more thought into what I sleep in! We watched the first episode of Z this weekend so maybe we’ll keep it up! :) I’m totally into period dramas right now after watching the Crown.
That book is on my list! How do you like it? And I have heard great things about The Crown but haven’t been able to convince Dave to watch it yet :)
I love this love list!
Xoxoxo!!
I love love love Eberjey! Thinking of buying that PJ set for myself after seeing that it’s on sale! :)
Get them! You won’t regret it! P.S. Miss you!! Xoxo
i missed love lists!
I think I’m going to post them more often!
