November felt like a big month around here! My mom joined us for almost a week to babysit while Dave and I headed to a wedding and a work event, and then we spent 10 days in Syracuse for my father-in-law’s 60th birthday party and Thanksgiving. I was nervous about making the 11-hour road trip with Charlie, but he handled it like a champ. He has changed SO much in the last month already, and I honestly think he’s getting more and more fun by the day, especially since he started smiling! I’m extra excited for December because not only is it Charlie’s first Christmas season, our little family will also get to spend almost the whole month just enjoying this time together. It’s my last month of maternity leave, and Dave is taking the second half of his paternity leave right now, so we’ve been calling it Christmas camp!
November Goals
- Start doing Tone It Up workouts three times a week (started, but dropped the ball while we were traveling)
- Add birth story and newborn photos to Charlie’s Baby Book
Do all my Christmas shoppingCelebrate! A sweet friend’s wedding, the Southern Weddings V9 launch party, and Thanksgiving with Dave’s family
December Goals
- Exercise daily (Tone It Up, long walks, and classes at the gym–we just joined!)
- Add birth story and newborn photos to Charlie’s Baby Book
- Decorate our house for the holidays
- Combine and organize our files
- Soak up Charlie’s first Christmas!
I just added Beau’s birth story to his baby book this week! I edited the blog post I had written while he was still in the hospital, and printed it. The other pages can have sweet handwriting, this story needed to be written so small so it could fit!
That is a GREAT idea!! Thanks for sharing!
I did the same thing as Victoria :) And Christmas camp sounds perfect!!
Definitely stealing that idea!
Can’t wait to put Charlie in his Christmas baby outfits!!!!
I’m so excited to see what you found for him!!
I’m obsessed with the wreaths you posted on instagram! I need to finish decorating for the holidays too, so I have time to enjoy the finished product! I hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your sweet baby :)
Thanks so much! I have sooo many pins of wreaths in windows so it was exciting to put some up in my own house! :)
