Happy Fourth of July!

Hope you have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend!! This is one of my very favorite holidays, and I’m especially excited about the way we’re celebrating this year: a road trip up to Syracuse for our first baby shower (a co-ed “baby-q” in my in-laws’ backyard!), followed by a stop in Charlottesville on our way back to swing by the winery we considered as a wedding venue and splurge on dinner at this restaurant I’ve been dying to try. We should make it back to Raleigh just in time to catch the fireworks! Whatever you’re up to, I hope you enjoy some sweet time with people you love.

In honor of the holiday weekend, I wanted to share a few of my favorite photos from the Fourth of July staycation shoot Dave and I did for Southern Newlywed last year, taken by my friend (and life photographer–she took our proposal pictures and baby announcement pictures!), Callie. See the original post here, especially if you’re sticking close to home this weekend!

  1. The 4th of July is one of my all-time favorite holidays (rivaled only by Christmas!), and I am counting down the minutes til we head out of town for lots of family time! King Family is also one of the very best wineries in Cville, and Red Pump is SO delicious… one of the best meals I’ve had. Enjoy Syracuse + Charlottesville!!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!! We loved King Family and can’t wait to go back :) And I’m glad to hear Red Pump is as good as I’m hoping it will be!

Enjoy your weekend! Sounds like its going to be full of such sweet memories :) July 4th is usually a fun one for me, but only because my birthday is the week following ;)

You’re going to have such a fun weekend! I’m hoping my 4th of July involves a boat. Fingers crossed.
