February Goals

Main

January was a bit of a crazy month, and I’m expecting some more of the same in February. That said, I am actually genuinely excited that the groundhog didn’t see his shadow this morning (haha!), because paired with the gorgeous weather we’ve had in Raleigh lately, it makes me feel more like spring might be on its way a little early. I’m keeping my February goals simple in the hopes that I’ll leave myself plenty of margin and white space for long walks on pretty days, coffee dates with friends that last for hours, and lazy evenings of The Bachelor–are y’all watching this season? I think it has been a good one so far!

January Goals
1. Attend daily Mass with Dave at least twice. (We went once, and are aiming to do better this month!)
2. Pack up our Christmas decor and do a deep clean of our apartment, including going through a few more drawers to get rid of things we don’t need.
3. Follow the Tone It Up 8-Week Program that started this week. (Imperfectly, but still counting this a win)
4. Write my hospitality bucket list. (Find it here!)
5. Finish and launch the Something Pretty redesign.

February Goals
1. Attend daily Mass with Dave at least twice.
2. Celebrate Valentine’s Day!
3. Check something off of my hospitality bucket list.
4. Start my Lent devotional on Ash Wednesday.

P.S. I updated my Shop page with my favorite closet, beauty, and home picks for February! Spoiler alert: if you don’t like the color pink, you may not be a big fan of this month’s goodies ;)

Happy February, Lisa! I love that you keep your goals simple so that you have room for walks, coffee dates and lazy evenings. Three things that I very much enjoy myself :-) I kept my goals simple as well so that I can focus on my homework and have time to travel to Germany to see my family in two weeks. My favorite goal is to start my lent devotional AND to give up sugar for lent. I need to hit the re-set button when it comes to my eating habits and to start making healthy choices again. I hope 40 days of sugar detox will do the trick ;-)

I’m so sad I’m not visiting this February :'( My Feb goal is to pass my teaching exam. Eek!
