Dave and I love our cozy little apartment, but there are two things that we really wish were different about it: 1. The fact that there is only one closet in the whole apartment, and 2. Our living area is not well-suited for entertaining. If you’re a longtime reader, you may already know how much I love planning and throwing parties, so as Dave and I got settled in and summer rolled around, we found ourselves itching to have people over. The solution? Invite them up on the roof! We recently discovered the rooftop patio at our apartment complex, so tomorrow, we’ll be lugging our TV, speakers, popcorn, and our new drink dispenser up there for a viewing of The Sandlot! Here’s some of the inspiration I pulled for a summer rooftop movie party.
