Is there anything sweeter than the idea of a bride’s mother making her wedding dress? My jaw dropped when I found out that that was the case for this beautiful bride! The bodice and sleeves were hand-stitched with vintage lace appliques and beads, and the skirt is tulle with a layer of the mother of the bride’s wedding dress on the bottom. I can’t imagine a more stunning, sentimental gown.
I’m loving that bouquet just as much as the dress! See more from this beautiful Salt Lake City wedding, photographed by Ciara Richardson, on 100 Layer Cake.
wow! that is great dress!
oh my gosh, that dress is so beautiful!
Love this gorgeous dress! My mama, a talented designed (and dress maker), always told me she’d never make my dress because it’d be covered in teary water marks!
