I spent my junior year of college in Pittsburgh, and just about everything that could go wrong went wrong. For the first time since I started college, I was terribly homesick. My family had just moved to Texas, but even though I had only spent a few weeks here over the summer, I fell in love with our new home. Besides the sunny weather and barbecue on every corner, I was particularly enchanted with the sky–Texas has the best sunsets. I’ve been here for a year and a half now, but where I’ll be going after graduating in May is completely up in the air. So, this semester, I’ve been trying to make extra effort to go up on the roof of my parking lot, be still, and watch the sunsets.
I don’t even remember how I discovered Little Things & Curiosities, but it was one of the first lifestyle blogs I started reading, and it remains a favorite. Laura writes so beautifully, and this week, she’s been sharing pictures from her absolutely breathtaking summer wedding. My favorite detail? Her flowers–a gorgeous mix of textures in sunset colors. This shot in particular was taken by one of her bridesmaids, Sam Shorey, via Little Things & Curiosities.
Have a beautiful weekend!
