Love List 2012

Lifestyle

It’s that time of year again–Love List 2012! All year long, I keep an eye out for weddings that, to me, epitomize everything a wedding should be. Most of the time, that means a beautiful couple in love, gorgeous styling, unique and thoughtful details, and whatever that special something is that makes me remember the wedding long after I see it on a favorite blog. These five weddings are the ones that have touched my heart, made me gasp, and stayed with me during this year, and I hope you love them as much as I do!

dove+sparrow{This Brooklyn wedding was posted on Style Me Pretty on January 3, but even three days into the year, I knew it would be a favorite. From the bride’s Vera Wang to the striking rooftop that served as the perfect urban ceremony venue, every detail was lovely, effortless, and oh-so-New York. By Dove and Sparrow via Style Me Pretty}

Elizabeth Messina{When wedding industry greats like Elizabeth Messina, Mindy Weiss, and Mark’s Garden team up, you know the result is going to be nothing short of a fairytale. This California wedding radiated old world elegance and beauty, from the bride’s custom The Row gown to the breathtaking Malibu views. By Elizabeth Messina via Style Me Pretty}

Magnolia Pair{Oh, New Orleans! This charming city is one of my favorite wedding destinations, and this wedding in particular showed off all the reasons why. A charming French Quarter courtyard, a lively second line, sweet Southern details, and romantic florals came together flawlessly to celebrate this radiant bride and groom. Taylor Lord{New Year’s Eve weddings are always some of my favorites, and this downtown Austin wedding did it perfectly–festive, sparkly, and all around gorgeous. I especially love the bride’s glittery nails and shoes, the darling cake, and the joyful moments Taylor Lord captured as the clock struck midnight. By Taylor Lord Photography via Style Me Pretty}

Justin DeMutiis{When I saw this Georgia wedding, I told my mom that if I got married tomorrow, it might look something like this. I love how every detail was infused with sweetness and whimsy, but stayed completely elegant all the way through. The perfect example? The couple’s monogram appeared on both the bride’s cathedral length veil and on the custom cornhole beanbags! By Justin DeMutiis Photography via Southern Weddings}

Without a single doubt, 2012 has been a truly beautiful year! I’m so grateful to all of the incredible photographers, vendors, and of course, brides and grooms, that pour so much love into these weddings and then share them with wedding blogs. They all bring me so much joy, and I can’t wait to see what 2013 brings!

Love, Lisa
