Once Thanksgiving had come and gone, I completely focused on my Christmas party! As a little tribute to my love of letters, I threw a Christmas card writing party last Friday, complete with jazzy Christmas music, a hot chocolate bar, and a few fun surprises. I had never thought so much about styling a party before, but after writing for an events magazine for a year and wedding blogging for two, it was about darn time and I had a blast! I pulled inspiration together for a few weeks leading up to the party on one of Pinterest’s handy new secret boards, and here’s what I settled on.
{Girl with glitter: Paper Crown| Ornament garland: Apartment Therapy| Christmas card: Rifle Paper Co.| Christmas engagement picture: Kristin Vining Photography| Christmas wrapping: 6 Bittersweets via The Sweetest Occasion| Carrying presents: source unknown, let me know if you know!| Hot chocolate bar: My Sweet Savannah}
The decor theme was “Gingham and Gold” because I wanted a traditional, Christmas-y look with a glamorous little twist. Stay tuned for the details and party pictures coming up tomorrow and Thursday!
