Weddings are my weakness, of course, but I would have to say, bridal showers come in at a close second! I love the opportunity to show the bride how loved she is, and what better way to show her than with a party full of her favorite things? I was so delighted when my friend Michaela sent me this bridal shower shoot she styled, because I can so easily picture the fun and girly bride it would be perfect for. Ashley Slater Photography captured everything from the stunning scenery to the sweetest little details beautifully, and I just know you’re all going to love every picture as much as I do!

From the stylist, Michaela: “There’s nothing sweeter than gathering your closest friends and celebrating the engagement of a girlfriend.  This shoot took place at the gorgeous Regale Winery in the Santa Cruz mountains, and the inspiration behind the shoot was truly found in friendships with all my best friends.  They’re sweet, sassy, girly and a whole lot of fun.  We decided to use those cue words to shape the styling of the shoot.  Pretty pink crystal, white linens, hand-written name cards, bright blooms, and delicious dessert were all in attendance at this bridal shower.  The darling invites and menu were done in pink and navy– one of my favorite color combinations.  Each champagne glass was filled with a clear rock candy.  This was not only cute, but also fancied our tastebuds, as it sweetened up the champagne just a touch.  The favors were simple chocolate bars so the girls could indulge in the treats when they pleased…after all, we were at a winery, and the wine and chocolate combination is ever-so-yummy!”
