There are so many beautiful wedding gowns out there, but sometimes a bride needs to take that extra step and have some alterations done in order to make a dress her dream come true. That was the case with this Colorado bride, who purchased her Demetrios gown at a sample sale. She then created a sweetheart neckline and took in the A-line skirt of the dress to create a trumpet silhouette. The result is gorgeous, of course, and I love that it was all due to a resourceful bride with a vision!

Beautiful! And I love her sparkly shoes, as well!:)
Love the photo – so gorgeous. I got a fit and flare dress but it’s not too dramatic, so I’m going to add a bit of extra crinoline for drama :) Otherwise – it’s the perfect fit!
What a beautiful dress! I actually had alterations done to my dress too, to make a little more unique. I found it at a thrift store (a bridal salon had closed and donated all their sample dresses), but I had them do a sweetheart neckline on it. No one knew that it only cost me $100! Definitely a great piece of advice my dear :) xoxo
Ah…LOVE this dress. Totally my style!
what a good idea! if it’s not perfect, make it perfect! this one turned out lovely!
