Fall is my favorite time of year to experiment with textures and layering in my clothes (although 85 degree Austin is putting a bit of a damper on that idea!). With this sentiment in mind, I love the idea of taking the same types of risk with fall bouquets. The more surprising and unexpected, the better! Here are a few of my favorites.

As you can see from these gorgeous bouquet shots, you don’t need to use only fall/dark colors in the perfect autumn bouquet. My best advice? Mix light and dark flowers, and include a rustic or dramatic element. Think sprigs of wheat, feathers, fruit, a velvet bouquet wrap, cotton, twine…the list goes on!
Which of these is your favorite? I’m partial to the bottom right–cafe au lait dahlias are a bit of a weakness for me!
the wheat is surprisingly very cute! i would never have thought of that! ill still be using lots and lots and lots of real flowers though :)
Love the top left!! These are gorgeous! Beautiful inspiration.
