Happy October! It finally feels a little bit like fall, and I’m so looking forward to pulling out my cardigans and (fingers crossed) riding boots later this month. I’m also starting off this month with some exciting news! As some of you know, I’m a contributing writer for Occasions Magazine, and my brand new column launches on their blog today. It’s called “Fashion to Fete” and is all about interpreting fashion into event inspiration. Each post will also feature a buying guide to make it easy to get the look yourself. Wedding inspiration: Fall weddings are not exactly my favorite, but when done in this romantic, feminine way, I’m all for them. I’m also newly obsessed with white pumpkins–so chic!

Fashion inspiration: No one does fall fashion quite like Miss Sarah Vickers. I’m inspired by every single one of her outfits, but this one in particular stood out to me because of her burgundy pants and slightly sparkly top.

Interior inspiration: I love my girly bedroom, but someday when I have a whole house to decorate, a slightly moodier sitting area is definitely a must. I would love to curl up on that couch with a good book, and the art layered on a shelf is so fun and different.

Foodie inspiration: I probably should have gone with a pumpkin food for October, but ever since I had the most delicious fries at 24 Diner over the weekend, I’ve been craving this tasty comfort food all week. These are made with lemon salt and rosemary–yum!
