You may know today’s bride as the fabulously stylish and sweet blogger behind the popular Friday’s Fancies link-up, the Sun Savvy pledge, and of course, her wonderful blog full of advice for people in long distance relationships. It’s {av} from Long Distance Loving! {av} and her husband were married in Washington D.C. at the most beautiful, “vintage collegiate” wedding–the perfect theme for these college sweethearts. As the founder of Friday’s Fancies, it’s no wonder that {av} had gorgeous bridal style, and I love her elegant look!

My dress was Paloma Blanca, and my exit dress (last picture) was an ivory version of my Lela Rose bridesmaid dresses.

I knew my dress was “the one” when…I saw my best friend’s face. My mother lived five states away and couldn’t be there with me, so my best friend was my stand-in. I know her reactions well, so when I turned the corner, I knew this dress was different. :)

My favorite thing about my dress was…the bow on the back! The soft silk shatung material held its shape well and the bow made this simple dress much more fun.

I accessorized my dress with…cobalt blue patent peep-toes from Gucci (a major splurge!), rented sapphire and diamond earrings from adorn.com, and the pearls that my husband unexpectedly gave me on our wedding day.
