I’ve so happy to have my beautiful blog friend Natasha here today, sharing the story behind her gorgeous wedding dress! Natasha writes a lifestyle blog, Schue Love, and with her amazing style, it’s no surprise that her wedding dress was this incredible. I love that she chose such a statement-making gown, and her story shows that sometimes, the best thing a bride can do is try on a gown that wasn’t in her original plan. It may just be the one!

My dress is Model Novias.
I knew my dress was the one when… I knew I wanted a dress with fun texture and interest. I actually found my dress at the very first store I tried dresses on at, The White Dress in Corona Del Mar, CA. I tried on a bunch of more traditional dresses initially, but nothing really called to me. This dress was the last one I tried one…the associate at the store told me it was a special dress, but not a lot of women tried it on because it looked overwhelming on the hanger. I also thought it would overwhelm my frame, but when I tried it on, I just knew it was “the one”. I loved the ruffles and texture. It had an amazing train and I felt like a million bucks with it on. It was truly a fairytale moment!
My favorite thing about my dress was… I really loved the ruffles on the dress, yet it was very simple otherwise. The intricacies of the ruffling in the dress made a statement on its own.
I accessorized my dress with… I chose not to go with a veil since there was already a lot going on with the dress, and instead went with a floral applique in my hair. I wore earrings and a bracelet, which was handmade by a good friend, and that was it. I wanted the dress to speak for itself!
Isn’t it stunning? Thanks so much, Natasha!
Love,
Lisa
