I really have no idea where I might get married someday. I moved around too much growing up to have a real hometown, and I don’t know where I’ll end up going after college. Although this can be a bit unsettling for someone who is not only a wedding blogger, but also a Type A personality, I like to just come up with ideas for any city I can think of! At least then I’ll be prepared no matter what, right? :) Weddings in New York City always speak to me in a special way–I was born there, and I have always wanted to move back, so of course, it only makes sense to daydream up my hypothetical New York City wedding. Take a look!

The classics are all accounted for–the Vera Wang, the yellow taxi, and the most elegant calligraphy–but I especially love the charming touches like a venue with exposed brick walls (something I might be obsessed with), cotton boutonnieres to bring in a touch of Southern-ness, and a cake lined with macarons.
Confession time! Where do you dream of having a wedding someday, even if it’s unlikely in real life? Do you envision anything special?
Love,
Lisa
