This wedding is the epitome of romance combined with whimsy. A horse and carriage and a yellow tandem bicycle. A gorgeous seaside setting and rows of pastel-toned buildings. A frothy ballgown and bare feet. The whole wedding, planned by the bride herself and photographed by Kelly Sweet Photography, strikes a perfectly lovely balance in every category–just like balancing on a bike.

I’m so impressed by the love that the bride and groom put into planning their big day. Their love of bike riding on Mackinac Island is not only evident in the venue and all of the handmade details (the bride and groom made the paper products themselves!), but also in the bike tour that they and their guests took on the morning of the wedding to show everyone around! Once again, the perfect balance–a fun bike ride, and a gorgeous wedding. I am smitten! Thanks so much to Kelly for letting me share these wonderful pictures :)
Love,
Lisa
