One of the many details I love about yesterday’s darling wedding (check it out here if you missed it!) is the bride’s red peeptoe wedges. I’ve been a fan of bridal pop-of-color shoes for ages, and I’m thrilled that the look is still going strong! (The fact that I have my heart set on the prettiest pair of turquoise BHLDN heels for my wedding someday may or may not have anything to do with that. ;)) In light of Amanda’s adorable red shoes, I rounded up some of my favorite red heel options, ranging from spunky Ninas to the Valentino D’Orsay Bow Pumps that I practically drooled over at Neiman Marcus over the weekend.

There’s something about a red shoe (or red sole, of course!) that is so undeniably flirty and sassy. I am a firm believer that every girl should have a pair of red pumps in her closet–I bought mine as a present to myself when I got my first college acceptance four years ago, and I’ve worn them way more often than I ever expected to!
Which pair is your favorite? Would you rock a pair of red wedding shoes?
Love,
Lisa
P.S. Let me know what you think of this kind of round-up, and if you think it should be a regular type of post! :)
Oh, I just love this idea! Those Joan and David ones, with the little bow in the back, are so fun! I wore mint coloured flats {from the Gap of all places!} w/ my dress and loved them! Definitely a fan of coloured wedding shoes and of this round up–cute idea, Lisa!:)
WOOOOOOOW the Valentino!!!
Great idea…do another! ;)
Yes, this is great! I’d love to see more. :)
i love my pink pumps although sometimes i do wish to had more sass to an outfit than barbie, thus the appeal of red shoes!
you should keep doing these!
Love, love, love these–I can’t resist a good red shoe!
This is perfect! I’m kind of on the hunt for a pair of red heels for Vegas! :p
Sooo adorable. I have a pair, too :)
Red Shoes, so very pretty. Love your selections. I was thinking about this http://www.coloriffics.com/detail.php?shoe=CARRIE-A&type=P# (hope that worked) and you just gave me the courage.
Thanks! off to order
