A Little Recap

Weddings

I always love reading early posts of blogs I follow. In some instances, the direction of the blog changes completely from first post to present, and in every case, it’s so interesting to see how everyone started out. When I started blogging, my blog was called Sparkle and Spice (no one could ever keep the name straight :P), and it was about everything–weddings, fashion, life in general. I still love writing about fashion, so I try to incorporate it in when I can, but I feel like I’ve found my niche writing about weddings. Today, I thought it might be fun to take a look back through my own old archives and share some of my most popular and personal favorite posts. Hope you enjoy them!

 {Love and Movies: my favorite wedding/love related movie moments, like my all time favorite movie wedding– Landon and Jamie in A Walk to Remember :)}

{Guest Wear Etiquette: Deciphering wedding dress codes, a few outfit suggestions, and hard and fast rules to always follow}

{Style for the Guys: My post about wedding menswear–after all, it’s the groom’s big day too!}

{Inspiration at Your Fingertips: Creating a wedding vision around your engagement ring}

{In Love With Parachute Paper Company: An interview with my amazing first advertiser, whose work is completely beautiful and whimsical. I just love it!}

{In Love with Antiquaria: My interview with the ladies of Antiquaria, a fabulous antique china wedding registry business}

{Packing for Santorini/Hawaii/Provence/Rome: I wrote these posts about packing for four distinct honeymoon locations, including outfits for travelling, day, and night, plus an overall packing list. So fun to write!}

{Middleton and McQueen: To celebrate the royal wedding, I interviewed my friend Natasha, an intern at Alexander McQueen, about Princess Kate’s McQueen wedding gown and what it meant for the company}

{Sweet Williamsburg Engagement Session: My first real engagement session, that happened to feature my beautiful BFF and her man adventuring around Colonial Williamsburg. Less than 100 days till their wedding!}

{Classic Virginia Beach Wedding: And in case you missed it on Monday, I featured my first real wedding–a completely gorgeous Virginia Beach event with a crisp color palette and the cutest couple ever}

Have an amazing weekend!

Love,

Lisa

  2. I think the wedding thing is definitely your niche. I still haven’t found mine, but hopefully I’ll be able to figure it out and get a clear vision like you have!
