Dare to DIY

Weddings

Do-it-yourself projects are a win-win. Not only do they often save the bride money, they also take things to that next step as far as personalization goes. It’s also just impressive! Even girls who are not the craftiest of them all can find easy projects to tackle, and with the help of a few bridesmaids, DIY-ing can be a really fun part of wedding planning.

{DIY Wedding Bouquet on Hey Gorgeous… seriously, who would’ve ever guessed? Looks professional to me!}

{A fun twist on mason jars with DIY Colored Mason Jars from 100 Layer Cake}

{I love these DIY Pom Poms on Hey Gorgeous. You can completely customize to your wedding colors and display them in so many different ways}

{Another fabulous DIY from Hey Gorgeous! What can I say, Rhi’s got talent :) These Vintage Framed Chalkboard signs would make adorable table numbers, menu displays, seating charts, or miscellaneous signs}

{These super easy bow tie toppers could not be simpler, or cuter! Victoria, from A Subtle Revelry, created this DIY for Style Me Pretty, and I can only dream of what sweet things they could adorn!}

{DIY Ice Cream Parlor? Sign me up! This sundae bar is budget friendly, adorable, and a major crowd pleaser. Get the details and instructions on Eat Drink Chic}

{DIY boutonnieres would intimidate me a lot, but the instructions and pictures on The Inspired Bride make it seem much more accessible than I had expected!}

{This homemade vanilla extract is officially the cutest favor I’ve ever seen. I bet any wedding guest would love to bring home such a unique and useful gift! Ruffled has the instructions (with lots of pictures!) and a free printable label for the bottle}

What kinds of DIY projects did you/would you try your hand at for your wedding? Happy June 1st!

Love,

Lisa
