Styling Bridesmaids

Weddings

I’m in a bit of an excited-bridesmaid-flurry, thanks to my lovely bride-to-be BFF (who just got her engagement pics taken…maybe I’ll convince her to let me post some? ;)), and it’s gotten me thinking about all the directions brides can go with outfitting their favorite girls. Praise the Lord, ladies, the days of I’ll-never-wear-this-again dresses and matching shoes are over, hopefully never to return again, and now it’s all about making sure everyone looks and feels their best.

Here’s how I might style bridesmaids in a few popular dress colors:

{Let the bright pink dress be the focus of this girly ensemble, paired with rose gold Tiffany’s studs and strappy Nina heels}

{Flaunt the instant glamour of a long red dress with classic Christian Louboutin heels and super sparkly Diana Warner earrings (these ones happen to be called “Lisa” :))}

{A spring-y clover dress paired with rich textures, like lace, suede, and espadrille, would be perfect for a rustic outdoor event. Anthropologie necklace and Steve Madden wedges}

{Embrace the preppiness of a marine blue dress with some thick pearl strands (Zales) and white slingbacks (Kate Spade)}

{This one is my favorite! A little black dress is the perfect backdrop for bright pops of color, like this gorgeous Stella & Dot necklace and Qupid heels}

How did/would you style your BFFs on your big day? Have you ever worn any seriously amazing bridesmaid ensembles?

Have a great day!

Love,

Lisa
