Hope everyone had a happy Valentine’s Day!

Yesterday was the warmest it’s been in ages here in Pittsburgh, and as I left my apartment to go to my first class dressed in my winter coat, this thought popped into my head: “I wish I was wearing an amazing trench coat right now instead!”

It’s finally getting to that point in the year where it’s not warm enough to go coat-less quite yet, but warm enough to ditch the peacoats and puffy jackets. With the frequent chance of rain that comes with the next few months, a trench coat is the perfect completion to early spring outfits. One thing I love about trench coats is that their longer length directs the eye downwards towards your shoes! With that in mind, I’ve come up with some trench coat and shoe pairings, complemented with a Zoya nail polish color I would wear with it, due to my recent obsession with painting my nails every few days since I got my free polishes! :P
