Over the weekend, we popped into Old Navy to pick up some pants for Charlie, and it turned into a little bit of a family shopping spree. I bought a few maternity pieces at Old Navy last year, but haven’t been in since, and I was SO impressed by all of the new pieces. There were stripes, ruffle hems, perforated leather, sweet florals, seersucker, and plenty of pretty pastels…basically, everything I want to be wearing in the spring! In lieu of buying out the store, I wanted to share a few of my favorite finds today :)
I picked up this boxy white tee (I love that the hem is a little longer in the back–super flattering) and the “Espresso Then Prosecco” shirt that Dave actually found and told me I needed ;) In this season of life, I’ve put a hold on my favorite J. Crew investment pieces and dressier items–anything I have to dry clean is pretty much a no. This spring/summer, I plan on living in cute t-shirts, shorts in fun colors or prints, and my go-to “momiform” shoes: sparkly Kate Spade Keds or summery Soludos (I have these at the top of my birthday list to replace my four-year-old Soludos). At first, I was a little sad about not dressing up all the time, but now, I’m trying to appreciate it: I’m comfortable playing with Charlie all day in cute, casual clothes, and it’s all the more fun to get dressed up for church on Sundays or for special occasions! Old Navy, you won’t be seeing the last of us :)
P.S. This post isn’t sponsored at all–I’m just excited about what I found and wanted to share!
