Dress Envy

Weddings

Oh my goodness gracious. I think I could write an entire blog about how much I love Amsale wedding gowns. Number one favorite wedding dress designer, hands down! One of the first Amsale gowns I ever came across was Dahlia, and after seeing it on a beautiful Style Me Pretty bride yesterday, I was reminded of how much I love its gorgeous simple bodice and completely unique A-line skirt. Any gown that takes a classic silhouette and turns it into something exquisite is an A+ in my opinion. Let’s take a look :)

Ahhh, I just love it! Doesn’t it photograph so beautifully? I love how the bride let the dress shine by keeping her hair and accessories simple and elegant. Pictures by Robert & Kathleen Photographers via Style Me Pretty.

So Amsale is my clear favorite, but which wedding dress designer never fails to make your heart skip a beat?

Love,

Lisa

  1. Love, love, love! This dress is so gorgeous! I tried it on when I was shopping around and it’s even more beautiful in person! Amsale is definitley one of my favourites too along with Ivy and Aster, Sarah Seven, and Vera Wang {of course!}!:)

GAH–such a gorgeous gown! I adore Amsale, but Oscar de la Renta always makes me swoon!

Thank you for doing such a wonderful write-up on my dress and SMP post. I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it in a magazine. My sister got her wedding gown from Amsale as well, and their gowns are timeless and beautiful. The experience at their Flagship salon is great, too!

Thank you so much for your comment–hearing from brides makes my day! You looked absolutely gorgeous, and I love that your sister wore an Amsale too! Amazing taste must run in the family :)
